Cutting a promo was perhaps the one aspect of my new profession that I didn't really need Patterson's help with.  In fact, many of the Northern California fans of the day viewed me as the "talker" (and muscle) of the team, while Pat was the more polished wrestling technician.  It was a good mix of power and finesse, and it resulted in the two of us becoming the top two heels (and tag team) in the territory.
