In terms of being a "worker," Pat was light years ahead of me when he teamed.  Although I tried to copy his ring style, I simply wasn't as good at technical wrestling as he was (especially during my first year in the business) and the best I could do was to imitate how he acted, his heel mannerisms, and how he drew heat.  It worked, and I learned a lot about how to be "the bad guy" from my partner.  Although I didn't realize it at the time, it was knowledge that would serve me well throughout my entire career.
