Bruno Sammartino was a natural opponent for me, and our matches were among the easiest I've ever wrestled.  We just clicked, brother, and the fans really picked up on that.

Like myself, Bruno was obviously a very powerful man, and even through our matches were completely worked, we often tested each other's strength.  There's no doubt about it, Bruno was a strong, strong man, even at this stage, when his career was finally beginning to wind down.
