Throughout his long managerial career, The Grand Wizard of Wrestling led to the ring some of the best "rulebreakers" in the history of the WWF.  Having guided two men to the WWWF Heavyweight championship and around a half dozen or so to Inter-Continental gold, The Wizard was portrayed as being perhaps the most brilliant strategist in the "sport," and often lived up to his self-proclaimed title of "The Manager of Champions."  But of all wrestlers he managed (which included the formidable likes of Stan Stasiak, Ken Patera, Greg Valentine, Don Muraco, Pat Patterson, John Studd and many others) it was clear that The Superstar was his prized student, and the wrestler to whom he is most frequently identified with.
