In professional wrestling, it becomes apparent that some men are just able to take more punishment (both actual and fictional) inside the ring than others.  In fact, certain wrestlers throughout modern professional wrestling history have perfected the art of portraying a kind of wrestler who actually gets stronger the more he is beaten up by his opponent.  Whether heel or babyface, men like Ivan Koloff, Greg Valentine, Ricky Morton, Dusty Rhodes, Mad Dog Vachon, Hulk Hogan and yes, "Superstar" Billy Graham, were all able to convey to fans the idea that the more they were beaten down, the harder it was going to be for their opponent to defeat them.

Here we see a young "Superstar" Graham, bleeding profusely from a nasty gash above his eye.  Nevertheless, Graham, as he stands ready to lock up once again, appears almost pleased by the violence taking place, and indeed, seems to be ready for more.
