One of the (many) character traits that helped propel Graham to the top of the wrestling world in such a short time was that he possesed the ability to make the fans either absolutely love him, or absolutely loathe him.  When it came to "Superstar" BIlly Graham, there was no middle ground for the wrestling public of the day.  Although most chose to vehemently hate the controversial WWWF champion, in wrestling, there really is no difference because the reaction is all that really matters -- and The Superstar always, without exception, was able to elicit a reaction from the fans.
