"Superstar" Billy Graham began his long-running feud with the world famous luchador Mil Mascaras when the two muscular athletes were both competing in California.  Both were relatively new to West Coast fans, and the wrestling public clamored for a match between the two young and powerful newcomers.

Here we see Graham trying his best to tear the hood off the "Man of 1,000 Masks."  Of course, he was unsuccessful, but not for a lack of trying.  Eventually, the Graham-Mascaras feud made its way east, to the WWWF, where the flamboyant grapplers continued to draw huge gates for eastern promoters.
