When matched against each other, "Superstar" Graham and Mil Mascaras delivered some incredibly exciting matches, even by today's standards.  The two colorful, muscular performers complemented each other inside the ring, and kept the fans wondering who would gain the victory.

Would Mascaras' plethora of moves and counter-moves be enough to stop the overwhelming power and might of the cocky, dominant new WWWF champ?  Surely, if anything could counter Graham's Herculean strength, it would be Mascaras' skill.  On the other hand, would the arrogant Heavyweight champ, rippling with muscle, finally be the man to tear off the famous luchador's hood?  Surely, if anyone could unmask "The Man of 1,000 Masks," it would be The Superstar.

On the night that this photo was taken, over 22,000 New Yorkers were willing to pay money in order to pack Madison Square Garden and get the answer to these questions.
